Brown, Cowher and Sanders to Host CBS/NFL Pregame
- CBS and NFL Network have announced the studio team for their joint Thursday Night Football broadcasts this year. CBS’ James Brown will host alongside “The NFL Today” colleague Bill Cowher, with NFL Network’s Deion Sanders rounding out the team. Sanders, some may recall, was an analyst on The NFL Today from 2001-04. (NFL Communicatons)
Turner’s Sager Improving
- Turner Sports reporter Craig Sager returned home over the weekend after experiencing marked progress in his leukemia treatment. In a story on Bleacher Report last week, Sager said doctors told him he was “doing remarkable, doing the best I can possibly do.” His son told SB Nation on Saturday that Sager had “improved so much” that he did not have to go in for outpatient treatment on Sunday. ESPN Extends PTI Duo
- Pardon the Interruption co-hosts Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon have agreed to multi-year deals to remain with ESPN, the network announced Tuesday. Kornheiser and Wilbon have been with ESPN in various capacities since PTI premiered in the fall of 2001. (ESPN Media Zone)
