Slight Increase For PBA Tournament of Champions
- Coverage of the PBA Tournament of Champions bowling tournament earned a 0.6 final rating and 838,000 viewers on ESPN last Sunday, flat in ratings and up 5% in viewership from last year (0.6, 795K) and up a tick and 21%, respectively, from 2013 (0.5, 694K). Last year’s tournament took place in January, and the 2013 event took place in March. Sunday’s telecast ranks as the fourth-most watched PBA telecast of the year (10 telecasts). - Last Saturday’s ARCA Series race from Daytona drew a 0.6 final rating and 919,000 viewers on Fox Sports 1, down a tick in ratings and 6% in viewership from last year (0.7, 975K). - NBC earned a 0.6 final rating and 750,000 viewers for coverage of the women’s slalom at the World Alpine Championships, flat in ratings but down 21% in viewership from 2013, the last time the event was held (0.6, 944K). Coverage of the men’s slalom on Sunday drew a 0.8 and 918,000; the event aired on Universal Sports in 2013.
