- The Yankees/Red Sox Monday Night Baseball game drew 1.1 million viewers on ESPN, up 16% from Yankees/Royals last year (915K) but down 20% from Reds/Cardinals in 2013 (1.3M). Excluding Sunday night games, the Red Sox’ win ranks as the third-most watched telecast of the season on cable. - Kansas City Royals Major League Baseball games averaged a 13.3 rating on Fox Sports Kansas City during the month of August, while St. Louis Cardinals games averaged an 11.0 on FS Midwest — both records for a single month on the respective networks.
