The Cardinals’ second straight Sunday Night Football appearance hit a second-straight season-low.
The Week 11 Bengals/Cardinals Sunday Night Football game had a 10.7 final rating and 18.0 million viewers on NBC, down 14% in ratings and viewership from Patriots/Colts last year (12.4, 20.8M) and down 31% and 33%, respectively, from Chiefs/Broncos in 2013 (15.5, 26.9M).
Arizona’s last-second win ranks as the lowest rated and least-watched game of the season on NBC (12 telecasts). The previous lows were set a week earlier by their win over the Seahawks (11.4, 19.4M). Going back further, it scored the smallest regular season audience on NBC in nearly two years — since Bengals/Steelers in Week 15 of the 2013 season (16.4M).
The game also ranks as just the second on NBC this season to have a decline in ratings or viewership, joining Eagles/Panthers in Week 7 (down 12% and 13%, respectively).
Among adults 18-49, SNF had a 6.3 rating — down 11% from last year (7.1), down 36% from 2013 (9.9), and also a season-low. The previous mark was a 6.9 for 49ers/Giants in Week 5.
