- ESPN NBA reporter Chris Broussard is departing the network for Fox Sports 1, he announced via his Twitter account Friday. The news was originally reported by Sporting News. In a statement provided to multiple media outlets, ESPN said it tried to re-sign Broussard but wished him the best in his new position. He had been with ESPN since 2004. (Sporting News)
McHale Returning
- Former NBA head coach Kevin McHale has officially rejoined Turner Sports as an NBA analyst, it was announced Tuesday. McHale, who worked for TNT from 2009-11 before leaving to coach the Houston Rockets, had been a guest analyst during last year’s playoffs. Under his new multi-year deal, he will join the cast of NBA TV’s Fan Night each Tuesday and also work select NBA games on TNT. (Turner Sports)

- Tampa Bay Rays P Chris Archer will join ESPN as a guest studio analyst during the World Series, the network announced Thursday, reprising a role he held last year. Archer will join the on-site Baseball Tonight studio team before and after Games 1-2 and 5-7. (ESPN Media Zone)
