For the second straight week, the NFL singleheader window hit a multi-year high on CBS.
The Week 14 NFL singleheader earned an 11.2 final rating and 19.1 million viewers on CBS Sunday afternoon, up 3% in ratings and viewership from last year (10.9, 18.6M) and up 6% and 9%, respectively, from 2014 (10.9, 18.6M).
The telecast ranks as the highest rated and most-watched singleheader on CBS this season (seven telecasts), and the second-highest rated and fourth-most watched regardless of network.
It was also the top singleheader in Week 14 of the season since 2013 (12.0, 20.2M), marking the second straight week that the window has hit a multi-year high. For the season, it was just the 15th NFL telecast to hit a high in ratings and the 17th to do so in viewership (90 total windows).
Dating back to the start of Week 10 on November 10th, fully half of the 32 NFL telecast windows have posted an increase in ratings and viewership. In the previous nine weeks through November 7, only nine of 58 telecasts had an increase in ratings and ten* had an increase in viewership.
* Not including Giants/Rams from London in Week 7, as the comparable game last year was not nationally televised.
