Levy, Riddick, added to secondary MNF team
ESPN announced Wednesday that Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Louis Riddick will call the second game of the network’s annual Monday Night Football doubleheader. Griese and sideline reporter Laura Rutledge are returning from last season, Riddick is a new addition, and Levy is replacing Beth Mowins. [ESPN PR 5.15]
Huard leaving ESPN for Fox
The New York Post reported Wednesday that ESPN college football analyst Brock Huard is departing the network to join Fox Sports. According to the report, Huard will serve as a game analyst alongside play-by-play voice Joe Davis on Fox Sports’ #2 college football broadcast team.

Turner’s Marv succession plan on hold
Turner Sports’ NBA play-by-play succession plan, which would have elevated Brian Anderson to the network’s lead broadcast team as soon as next season, has been shelved with the departure of executive David Levy, according to the New York Post. Jeff Zucker, who assumed oversight over Turner Sports under AT&T-led restructuring of Time Warner (now WarnerMedia), is said to be devising a new succession plan. [NYP 5.15]
ESPN’s Woodson leaving network
Longtime ESPN NFL analyst Darren Woodson has left the network to focus on his Texas-based commercial real estate business, he announced this week. Woodson had been with ESPN since 2005. [ESPN Front Row 5.13]
