Romo could miss Week 4 NFL coverage due to golf tournament
CBS is allowing NFL analyst Tony Romo to participate in the PGA Tour Safeway Open next weekend, which would cause him to miss the network’s September 29 NFL coverage if he makes the cut, the New York Post reported Thursday. He and Jim Nantz are scheduled to work Vikings-Bears that day. CBS told the Post that it has a contingency plan in case Romo is not available. [NYP 9.19]
