If there are only four games on that first Saturday of the playoffs, wouldn’t that mean ABC/ESPN are airing a quadruple header instead of a quintuple header?

    • Paulsen

      Thanks for noticing that mistake.

  • http://twitter.com/NYCKING BIG ED

There are no dates for NBA TV games?

    • Paulsen

      Not yet.

  • Matt Vaughan

Just want to say as someone who works for the NBA…this site has been a continual blessing for schedules!

    • Paulsen

Thanks, glad to be of help.

  • EJ

When is the earliest game 3 of the Celtics Knicks can be?

    • Paulsen

I think there might be one Game 3 on Wednesday. Otherwise, Thursday.

      • http://twitter.com/NYCKING BIG ED

Can’t be Thursday because Bruins has home game.

  • http://www.facebook.com/OneMindOneHeartOneLoveNJ Lisa Johnson

Is there a way to watch NBA playoffs games on mobile through ABC?

    • Paulsen

      I don’t think so.

  • Sam Rosem

I think on the 28th there will be changes, no way Spurs/Lakers doesn’t air in the late afternoon spot on ABC, that’s a weird start time for a Lakers home game on TNT.

I think it will end up looking like this:

    1:00p – Heat @ Bucks/NY @ BOS ABC
    3:30p – Spurs @ Lakers ABC
    7:00p – Knicks @ Celtics/MIA @ MIL TNT
    9:30p – Nuggets @ Warriors TNT

    • Paulsen

Unless something unusual happens, the schedule will remain as listed. ABC only took one Laker game during last year’s first round, so this isn’t unprecedented.

  • http://twitter.com/NYCKING BIG ED

Would ESPN pick up ABC games this weekend if they have to go to breaking news because of Boston Marathon Tragedies?

    • Paulsen

I imagine that if there is any news serious enough to warrant special report coverage, games would shift to ESPN. But there’s no reason as of yet to believe that will happen.

  • Romes1972@gmail.com

    Go heat and lakers missed#8

Is there a chance the Heat could play on may 6 instead of may 7 ?? (in case of qualification for semifinals).

    • Paulsen

If the Heat advance to Round 2, it is almost certain (based on previous years) that they would host Game 1 on May 6. Either that or, less likely, May 4.

I have a potential Heat-Bulls series starting on May 6, with Game 2 May 8, Game 3 May 10, Game 4 May 12 (ABC), Game 5 May 14, Game 6 May 16, and then Game 7 on either May 19 or May 20 (TNT). Could turn out differently, but that is the way they’ve done it in the past.

Thank you, I finish my trip in Miami on may 7th so I hope game 1 will be the 6th. Last year it was on a sunday, like often in Miami, but not this year apparently. Thanks again.

  • Iverson Y. Dorliae

The game has reached it interested stage… time to enjoy the beauty of basketball….

  • http://twitter.com/NYCKING BIG ED

May 2 no games on NBA TV with 2 games only. Would assume 8pm/1030pm if DEN/GS only 9pm or if BK/CHI only 8pm

    • Paulsen

      Good point, I’ll change it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/benc3 Ben Cohen

Are you planning on making one of these schedule charts for the NHL playoffs too?

  • http://twitter.com/jaymaxx97 Justin Maxey

This saved me as I’m bought tickets to game 3 in chicago for the second round against miami. I’ll only be there three nights. Relieve to know game 3 will either be 10 or 11th. Is there any why that game 3 could change to a different date in a potential heat-bulls series?

    • Paulsen

I don’t think so. The series will definitely begin on May 6, so it is likely that Games 2 and 3 will be on May 8 and 10.

  • http://www.facebook.com/maricel.pua Maricel J. Pua

    goodluck i know miami champion

  • abcdefg@hotmail.com

    Hi there,

how reliable are these dates? I am only in Miami from Monday to Wednesday, but the East Final Game 5 might be on Thursday. If Miami commences, they will play the first two games at home. Am i correct?

    • Paulsen

The start of the East Finals could move up from Wed. May 22 to Mon. May 20, but I would expect Game 5 to remain on Thu. May 30.

And yes, the Heat would host Games 1, 2, 5 and 7 if they make the ECF.

  • yo gotti

Memphis & Miami Memphis takes it in 7

  • http://www.facebook.com/nathan.d.johnsoniii Nathan Douglas Johnson III

If the Pacers defeat the Knicks tonight then will Game 1 of the ECF take place on Saturday or Monday?

    • Paulsen

If the Pacers win tonight, Pacers/Heat Game 1 will be Monday on TNT. If the Knicks push the series to six games, Game 1 will be on Wednesday night.

  • Sdaly

If the Knicks win Game 6 to force a game 7, how will that affect the schedule? ie. when will game 1 for the ECF be?

    • Paulsen

No matter what happens tomorrow, Game 1 of the WCF will be Wednesday night.

  • Jason

Will the Finals start on June 6 even if Heat v Pacers series ends in six games?

    • Paulsen

      Yes.

  • Tom

So little on broadcast TV. Seems more and more you have to pay so much now.
