- The Phoenix Suns will wear their Noche Latina ‘Los Suns’ jersey during Spurs/Suns Game 2 on Wednesday, which is also Cinco de Mayo. In a statement announcing the move, Suns owner Robert Sarver criticized the recent Arizona immigration law, calling it “flawed.” The last time an NBA team wore a uniform other than their home, away or alternate jersey during the postseason was 2003, when the Nets wore throwback jerseys during Game 5 of the NBA Finals. - CBS “seriously considered” paying ESPN to take the rights to the NCAA Tournament “off its hands,” reports the New York Times. With three expensive years left on its NCAA Tournament contract — and losses for those seasons projected to hit over $200 million per year — CBS would have paid ESPN an undisclosed amount to take on the remaining three years of the deal.
