Though down from last year, Sunday’s NFL national window earned the fourth-largest audience of the season.
The Week 10 NFL national window, featuring Giants/49ers in 70% of TV markets, earned a 15.6 final rating and 25.938 million viewers on FOX Sunday — up 1% in ratings but down 1% in viewership from Week 10 last year (DAL/NYG*: 15.5, 26.226M), and down 2% and 3%, respectively, from Week 10 in 2009 (DAL/GB*: 15.9, 26.747M).
Despite the decline, the national window ranks as the fourth-most viewed NFL telecast of the season. Of the five most-viewed NFL telecasts this season, four have aired on FOX.
Earlier in the day, regional action featuring Saints/Falcons in 65% of markets drew a 7.7 and 12.444 million viewers, down 6% in ratings and 5% in viewership from last year (MIN/CHI*: 8.2, 13.141M), and up 7% and 6%, respectively, from 2009 (ATL/CAR*: 7.2, 11.724M).
The telecast stands as the lowest rated and least-viewed NFL telecast on FOX this season (16 telecasts).
