The Milwaukee Bucks were no match for the NFL Draft on Thursday night. In other news, Mets P Matt Harvey has been an above-average draw in New York, and NBC’s second boxing telecast in nine years had a big decline in ratings and viewership.
NFL Draft Nearly Triples Bucks Game in Milwaukee
- The Bucks’ first home playoff game in three years was obliterated by the NFL Draft in Milwaukee. Thursday’s Heat/Bucks Game 3 drew a combined 3.3 rating in the Milwaukee market (2.1 on TNT, 1.2 on Fox Sports Wisconsin), compared to an 8.9 for the first round of the NFL Draft (7.2 on ESPN, 1.7 on NFL Network). Game 1 of the series last Sunday earned a much healthier 7.6 rating (5.1 on TNT, 2.5 on FS Wisconsin), though that still trailed Thursday’s NFL coverage. (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel [1], [2])

NBC’s Second Boxing Telecast Down Big
