- Last Saturday’s NFLPA Collegiate Bowl drew a 0.4 final rating and 499,000 viewers on ESPN2, flat in ratings and down 18% in viewership from last year (0.4, 609K) and flat and down 13%, respectively, from 2013 (0.4, 573K). Airing concurrently on NFL Network, the East-West Shrine Game drew a 0.2 and 252,000 viewers — down a tick in ratings and 45% in viewership from last year (0.3, 459K) and flat and down 22%, respectively, from 2013 (0.2, 324K). Arsenal/Man City No Match For Last Year’s Record-Setter
- The Arsenal/Manchester City English Premier League match drew a 0.4 final rating and 728,000 viewers on NBCSN last Sunday, down a tick in ratings and 29% in viewership from Chelsea/Manchester United last year (0.5, 1.0M). Keep in mind last year’s match tied the largest audience ever for the Premier League on U.S. cable television. - UniMás earned 1.2 million viewers for the Chivas/UNAM Liga MX Clausura match last Sunday, the top soccer audience of the week regardless of network. The Univision family of networks has now aired the top soccer telecast in two consecutive weeks. (Univision)
