- A civil jury has awarded Fox Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews $55 million in her lawsuit against West End Hotel Partners and Windsor Capital, the operators of the Nashville Mariott at Vanderbilt University. Andrews alleged that the hotel had been negligent in allowing a stalker to request a room next to hers, resulting in said stalker recording video of her nude in her hotel room and later leaking that video online. Sharapova’s Failed Test Leads to Sponsor Backlash
- Nike has suspended its endorsement contract with tennis player Maria Sharapova and Tag Heuer has suspended contract renewal negotiations with the five-time Grand Slam champion after her announcement Monday that she failed a drug test and is facing suspension by the International Tennis Federation.
