Euro 2016 Viewership Down From ’12, Up From ’08
- The group stage of Euro 2016 averaged a 0.5 rating and 707,000 viewers on the ESPN family of networks, down 29% in ratings and viewership from 2012 (0.7, 1.0M) but up a tick and 28%, respectively, from 2008 (0.4, 552K). ESPN O.J. Doc Finishes Low
- The fifth and final episode of ESPN’s 30 For 30 miniseries O.J.: Made in America earned a 1.0 final rating and 1.5 million viewers last Saturday night, marking the second-lowest figures of the series. Part four the previous night had a slightly lower rating (0.98 to 0.97) and viewership (1.48M to 1.44M). After part one scored a 2.3 and 3.4 million on ABC, none of the four remaining episodes surpassed a 1.2 and 1.7 million. (via Programming Insider)
Sunday Night Baseball Dips Opposite NBA Game 7
- Airing opposite Game 7 of the NBA Finals, Pirates/Cubs scored a 0.8 final rating and 1.2 million viewers on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball — down a tick in ratings and 10% in viewership from Giants/Dodgers last year (0.9, 1.38M) and down a tick and 12%, respectively, from Angels/Braves in 2014 (0.9, 1.41M).
