Report: Collins Leaving Studio, Brown Gets Extension
- ESPN NBA analyst Doug Collins will shift from the studio to game analysis next season, The Big Lead reported Friday, partnering with Dave Pasch or Ryan Ruocco on 25-30 games. According to the same report, fellow NBA analyst Hubie Brown will remain with ESPN under a multi-year contract extension. Brown will work alongside Mark Jones, who replaces his longtime partner Mike Tirico, now with NBC. (The Big Lead)
MLB Net’s Yallof Recovering From Stroke
- MLB Network host Matt Yallof suffered a stroke last month but is expected to make a “full recovery,” according to a donation page set up by his family on YouCaring.com. Yallof, 47, has undergone “intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy” at a rehabilitation center and will “require many additional hours of continued therapy and services” once he returns home. McNabb Joins BeIN Sports
- Former Fox Sports NFL analyst Donovan McNabb has joined BeIN Sports as a college football studio analyst, working alongside O.J. McDuffie, Ki-Jana Carter and host Jeremy St. Louis on pregame, halftime and postgame coverage of Conference-USA games. McNabb worked for Fox Sports from 2013-15, resigning from the network last November in the wake his second DUI conviction. (BeIN Sports)
