Fox Sports Wipes Out Website Writing Staff
- Fox Sports has laid off nearly 20 writers and editors on its flagship website as part of a shift from written content and reporting to video production. The news was originally reported by Bloomberg and in a memo obtained by Awful Announcing. Wojnarowski Said to Make ESPN Debut July 1
- Yahoo! Sports columnist Adrian Wojnarowski will begin working for ESPN starting July 1, Sports Illustrated reported Monday. Though ESPN has not yet announced its acquisition of Wojnarowski, the move was reported as long ago as February and is believed to have been a driving force behind the company’s decision to lay off veteran NBA reporter Marc Stein. Palmer Re-Ups With ESPN
