The relocated Chargers hit a record-low rating in their old home, the LPGA’s final major of the season sank on NBC, and ESPN posted mixed results for an MLB tripleheader on Wednesday.
Chargers Hit San Diego Low
Last Sunday’s Dolphins-Chargers NFL game earned a 12.3 rating on San Diego CBS affiliate KFMB, the market’s lowest rating for a Chargers game in at least 19 years, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. The Chargers relocated from San Diego to Los Angeles in the offseason. The record-low rating in San Diego still exceeded that of home market Los Angeles, which turned in a mere 5.1 rating.
