Turner taps Harlan/Miller and Eagle/Van Gundy for NBA restart games
Turner Sports announced Tuesday that Kevin Harlan and Ian Eagle will serve as TNT’s play-by-play voices during the planned resumption of the NBA regular season at Walt Disney World, working alongside analysts Reggie Miller and Stan Van Gundy, respectively. The broadcast teams will call games on-site.
Stephanie Ready, Jared Greenberg and Chris Haynes are set to serve as sideline reporters.
TNT plans to use only the two broadcast teams throughout the remainder of the regular season, even on days when it is scheduled to air three games. Amin set to make Fox debut this weekend
Fox Sports officially announced Monday that it has hired ex-ESPN play-by-play voice Adam Amin to serve in the same capacity on its NFL, college basketball and Major League Baseball games. The news was first reported back in May by the New York Post. Amin is scheduled to make his debut on Saturday’s scheduled Brewers-Cubs game on FOX. [Fox Sports PR 7.20]
ESPN extends radio host Coleman
ESPN has reached a multi-year contract extension with radio host Freddie Coleman, it was announced Tuesday. Coleman, who has been with ESPN Radio since 2004, will continue hosting his primetime ESPN Radio show alongside Ian Fitzsimmons. [ESPN PR 7.21]

Baltimore Orioles play-by-play voice Gary Thorne will not call games this season, according to The Athletic, as he is in an age group at higher risk of COVID-19. … NBC Sports Washington broadcaster Julie Donaldson has been hired to oversee local Washington (D.C.) NFL broadcasts. Donaldson will not be replacing Larry Michael on play-by-play but will be part of the radio team in an unspecified role. … NBC Sports announced Tuesday that its broadcast team for the planned Professional Lacrosse League season — Paul Burmeister, Ryan Boyle and Todd Harris — will call games on-site.
