Despite losing Broncos/Vikings to FOX, CBS’ Week 13 NFL singleheader ended up with a big increase in ratings and viewership.
The Week 13 NFL singleheader window drew an 11.5 final rating and 19.010 million viewers on CBS, up 34% in ratings and viewership from Week 13 last year (8.6, 14.162M), and up 15% and 17%, respectively, from 2009 (10.0, 16.296M).
The telecast ranks as the highest rated (tie) and most-viewed NFL singleheader of the season on CBS (seven telecasts).
Due to some flex schedule maneuvering, CBS had to give up the Broncos/Vikings game to FOX. While the CBS singleheader had a double-digit increase in both ratings and viewership, the FOX early window — which featured the Broncos game in 61% of markets — was down 10% and 8%, respectively.
