- Michele Tafoya and Suzy Kolber: After two seasons roaming the sidelines for Monday Night Football, Tafoya and Kolber have been demoted. Their exact role has not been determined, and they may still appear on the air at some points. However, neither will be a major presence during MNF broadcasts.
- Chris Berman: With several videos popping up on YouTube of Berman making profanity-laced comments while on the Monday Night Football studio set in 2000, the longtime ESPN personality has attracted the ire of the desperate-for-attention Christian Defense Coalition. After failing to get First Take anchor Dana Jacobson fired for her comments at a roast, the CDC will protest in Bristol again, because Berman was taped “using the term ‘Jesus’ and ‘Goddamn’ in the workplace.”
- Bill Walton: The ESPN NBA analyst has been taking shots at his co-workers this year. After making a snide comment about Jalen Rose taking money at Michigan earlier this season, Walton blasted Mike Breen, Jeff van Gundy and Mark Jackson during halftime of Spurs/Celtics yesterday, after the trio suggested the Boston Celtics — for whom Walton played in the 1980s — retire too many numbers. Considering that ESPN/ABC tends to end up reducing Walton’s role the year after they give him extra expsoure, he may not be long for the main studio role.
