- Huge Jump For Adidas Grand Prix: NBC drew a 1.6 overnight rating for the track & field Adidas Grand Prix Saturday afternoon, up 78% from last year (0.9), and up 60% from 2010 (1.0). The last time the event took place during an Olympic year, tape delayed coverage drew a 1.0 on CBS. (Sports Business Daily)
- Overnight Ratings Rise For St. Jude Classic: Final round coverage of the PGA Tour St. Jude Classic drew a 2.0 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, up a tick from both last year (1.9) and 2010 (1.9). On Saturday, third round coverage drew a 1.4 overnight, up 17% from both last year (1.2) and 2010 (1.2). (Sports Business Daily)
- Women’s Finals Down, Men’s Finals Flat, At Visa Championships: The women’s final of gymnastics’ Visa Championships drew a 1.6 overnight rating on NBC Sunday afternoon, down 24% from last year’s women’s final (2.1), and down 11% from the women’s final in 2010 (1.8). The past two years, the women’s final has aired on a Saturday night. On Saturday, coverage of the men’s final drew a 1.0 overnight, even with last year (1.0) and up 43% from 2010 (0.7).
