- Scott Foster: FOX News reports the NBA referee received over 130 calls from disgraced felon Tim Donaghy during the 2006-07 season. Donaghy called Foster more often than he called his bookie, using a phone “the feds say he designated for mostly gambling-related use.” The second most calls Donaghy made to a fellow official was 13.
- Trent Dilfer: The former NFL quarterback has joined ESPN as an NFL studio analyst. Dilfer will contribute to NFL Live, NFL Prime Time and Monday Night Countdown. He began his ESPN tenure today on NFL Live.
- James Brown: Was recently named the new host of Inside the NFL, which moves from HBO to CBS sibling Showtime next season. Brown will be joined by fellow CBS NFL personality Phil Simms and NBC’s Cris Collinsworth. Interestingly, Dan Marino, who was part of the cast last year and works with Brown on the CBS NFL pregame show, was not retained.
