CBS attracted solid numbers for the first tournament of the PGA Tour FedEx Cup.
Final round coverage of The Barclays, the first event of the PGA Tour FedEx Cup, earned a 2.5 final rating on CBS last Sunday — up 19% from 2010 (2.1), but down 22% from 2009 (3.2).
Last year’s final round was canceled due to Hurricane Irene.
The 2.5 rating is the second-highest for the final round of The Barclays since 2004 (2.8), trailing only last year.
On Saturday, third round coverage drew a 1.9 final rating — up 73% from last year (1.1), and up 12% from 2010 (1.7).
