CBS was the only network to suffer a decline for NFL coverage Sunday.
The Week 1 NFL singleheader window, including Patriots/Titans, earned a 10.4 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon — down 2% from both last year (10.6) and 2010 (10.6).
The CBS telecast barely finished ahead of coverage on FOX airing at the same time (10.2).
As is typical, the singleheader window finished well behind the national window on FOX (17.2) and “Sunday Night Football” on NBC (18.0).
