CBS was the biggest loser of Week 4.
The Week 4 NFL singleheader window, which included Patriots/Bills, earned a 10.4 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon — down 30% from coverage featuring Lions/Cowboys on FOX last year (14.9), and down 13% from coverage including Ravens/Steelers on CBS in 2010 (11.9).
Both singleheader windows on CBS this season (Week 1 and Week 4) have drawn a 10.4 overnight. By contrast, the two singleheaders on FOX (Week 2 and Week 3) drew overnights of 13.3 and 12.2.
Sunday’s telecast narrowly avoided earning the lowest overnight of the day. Regional action featuring 49ers/Jets drew a 9.8 on FOX in the 1 PM ET window.
