Overnight ratings inched up for Saturday’s meeting of Big Ten rivals Ohio State and Michigan State.
Saturday’s Ohio State/Michigan State college football game earned a 3.6 overnight rating on ABC, up a tick from regional coverage featuring the same matchup last year (3.5), but down 25% from coverage featuring Texas/Oklahoma in 2010 (4.8).
The telecast earned the highest overnight of the weekend for college football on any network.
Later in the night, the Wisconsin/Nebraska “Saturday Night Football” game drew a 2.6 overnight — down 19% from the same matchup last year (3.2), and down 24% from Stanford/Oregon in 2010 (3.4).
The telecast was outdrawn head-to-head by Texas/Oklahoma State on FOX (2.8).
