Continuing a recent resurgence, the Army/Navy game hit a 13-year high in television ratings.
Last Saturday’s Army/Navy college football game drew a 3.8 final rating on CBS, up a tick from last year (3.7), and up 15% from 2010 (3.3).
The 3.8 rating is the highest for the Army/Navy game since 1999 (5.1), topping the previous high of 3.7 set in 2009 and 2011.
Since moving to the week after the college football conference championship games, the Army/Navy game has enjoyed a resurgence in television ratings. This is the third time in four years that the game has topped a 3.5 rating, a mark the game failed to reach each year from 2000-08.
