Cubs, White Sox, Weak in Chicago
- Chicago Cubs regular season games have averaged a 1.7 rating on Comcast SportsNet Chicago so far this season, down 15% from the comparable point last year, and even with the network’s full 2012 average. Meanwhile, White Sox games have averaged a 1.3 — down 24% from last year. The Cubs and White Sox combined trail both the Bulls (3.2) and Blackhawks (5.4) regular season averages. Royals Still Hot in Kansas City
- Sunday’s Astros/Royals Major League Baseball game drew a 7.4 rating on Fox Sports Kansas City, the network’s third-best rating of the season. So far this season, Royals ratings have increased 38% over last year. (Fox Sports)
Slight Increase For PGA St. Jude Classic
- Final round coverage of the PGA Tour St. Jude Classic drew a 2.1 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, up a tick from last year (2.0), and up 11% from 2011 (1.9).
