NBC has added a new face to its NFL pregame show.
Former Chiefs GM Scott Pioli has joined NBC Sports as an NFL analyst, the network announced Monday. Sports Illustrated originally reported the news Sunday night.
According to the SI report, Pioli’s appearances on “Football Night” will vary week-to-week. He will join analysts Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison in some weeks and reporters Mike Florio and Peter King in others.
Pioli could also work with the on-site studio team of Bob Costas and Hines Ward.
In addition to his weekly role on “Football Night,” Pioli will also make regular appearances on NBC Sports Network’s “Pro Football Talk” program. He will primarily work on the Monday editions of the show, starting today.
