NBA coach Doc Rivers could return to the broadcast booth next season. In other news, ESPN has picked up CBS college hoops writer Jeff Goodman, and an Atlanta radio station fired three hosts who mocked former Saints player and ALS sufferer Steve Gleason.
Rivers Reportedly Considering a Return to TV
- Former ESPN/ABC NBA analyst Doc Rivers “has not entirely ruled out” a return to the broadcast booth, Comcast SportsNet New England reported Monday. Rivers was the lead analyst for ABC in the 2003-04 season, and before that worked for Turner Sports.
