Ratings were down but still impressive for the last Divisional Playoff game of the weekend.
The Steelers’ win over the Chargers drew a 19.6/34 final rating and 34.1 million viewers on CBS last Sunday, down 17% and 15% from a 23.6/40 and 40.1 million for last year’s comparable Giants/Cowboys game on FOX.
Ratings peaked at a 21.1/36 from 6:45-7 PM.
The 19.6 is the lowest rating for a Divisional Round NFL game in the late Sunday afternoon timeslot since ’02. Still, the game was the most viewed television program of the week.
In other NFL/CBS ratings news, the Ravens/Titans game on Saturday afternoon drew a 15.4/29 final rating and 25.4 million viewers. The 15.4 rating is off 9% from a 17.0/34 for Seahawks/Packers on FOX in the same timeslot last year, and is the third-lowest rating for a Divisional Round game since 2003.
