However, the final rating, which factors in the rest of the country, rose to a 9.2. By comparison, overnight ratings for NBA Finals and World Series games generally drew overnight ratings of 10.0 or higher last year, and final ratings in the single-digits.

Meanwhile, the 1.1 for Sunday’s Illinois/Indiana tilt is off 21% from a 1.4 for Ohio State/Michigan last year.
- On ABC, the 0.9 overnight for regional coverage on Saturday marks an 18% slide from a 1.1 for coverage in the same timeslot last year.
