CBS had a slight bump in viewership during Week 8 of the NFL season.
The Week 8 NFL singleheader window drew a 9.3 final rating and 15.2 million viewers on CBS last Sunday, up 1% in ratings from last year (9.2), but down 10% and 11%, respectively, from coverage featuring Lions/Broncos in 2011 (10.3, 17.1M).
The telecast ranks as the second-lowest rated NFL singleheader of the season, ahead of only Week 4 coverage on CBS (8.2).
Dating back to the Week 6 national window, four of the last five NFL telecasts on CBS have had increases over last year.
