Pacers/Heat Top NBA Game Since Opening Night
- Last Wednesday’s Pacers/Heat NBA regular season game drew 2.8 million viewers on ESPN, up 65% from Nets/Knicks last year (1.7M), and the top NBA game on any network since Opening Night on TNT. Later in the night, Bulls/Rockets drew 2.0 million, up 61% from last year’s Bucks/Grizzlies game (1.2M). (The Futon Critic)
Bulls Ratings Up 16% Despite Rose Injury
- Through 12 telecasts, Comcast SportsNet Chicago has averaged a 3.19 rating for Chicago Bulls games, up 16% from the comparable number of telecasts last year (2.75). Seven of the 12 games have taken place since Bulls PG Derrick Rose went down due to injury. (CSN Chicago)
Spurs Ratings Up By a Third
- San Antonio Spurs games have averaged an 8.0 rating on Fox Sports Southwest and CBS affiliate KENS so far this season, up 33% from last year. In particular, FS Midwest has averaged a 7.3 rating (+28%) and KENS has averaged a 10.9 (+48%). (Spurs.com)
