- Jerry Remy: The NESN analyst will be taking a leave from his Red Sox broadcasting duties as he recovers from cancer treatment. Remy had lung cancer surgery last year, and developed an infection and pneumonia just prior to spring training. In a statement, Remy says he is in “good shape” and “physically [has] no issues.”
- Matt Millen: The former Detroit Lions president has been officially hired by ESPN as a college football and NFL analyst. Millen will serve as a college football game analyst, with his role set to expand once ESPN begins televising the Bowl Championship Series in 2010-11. In addition, Millen will be an analyst on Monday Night Countdown, joining Stuart Scott and Steve Young from the site of Monday night games.
- Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison: Newsday reports that Dungy and Harrison are in talks with NBC about joining the network’s Football Night in America pregame show. Both Dungy and Harrison contributed to NBC’s coverage of Super Bowl XLIII in February.
