WNBA Playoffs Up on ABC
- Game 2 of the Mercury/Lynx WNBA Western Conference Finals drew a 0.7 overnight rating on ABC, up 75% from Lynx/Sparks Game 2 in 2012 (0.4) and up a tick from Storm/Mercury Game 2 in 2010 (0.6), the last two conference final games to air on ABC. Mercury/Lynx earned the top WNBA overnight on ABC since May 2012, when a regular season game between the teams drew a 0.8.
Overnights Up Double-Digits For Week 3 of EPL on NBC
- The Week 3 Chelsea/Everton English Premier League match drew a 0.8 overnight rating on NBC Saturday afternoon, up a third from Crystal Palace/Sunderland last year (0.6). The 0.8 tops NBC’s two previous telecasts this season, each of which drew a 0.7.
CBS Sees Mixed Results For U.S. Open
- CBS drew a 1.6 overnight rating for coverage of the U.S. tennis open on Monday, up a third from last year (1.2) and up 14% from 2012 (1.4). Sunday coverage drew a 1.5 (-6%) and Saturday action scored a 1.2 (even).
