Sunday Night Football had its biggest increase and lowest rating of the season in Week 6.
The Week 6 Bengals/Patriots Sunday Night Football game drew an 11.7 final rating and 19.4 million viewers on NBC, up 13% in ratings and 10% in viewership from Texans/49ers last year (10.4, 17.7M), up 4% and 6%, respectively, from Chargers/Saints in 2012 (11.2, 18.3M), and the lowest rated and least-viewed SNF telecast of the season.
The previous lows were an 11.8 and 19.7 million for Steelers/Panthers in Week 3.
Though the actual numbers hit a season-low, the 13% jump in ratings was a season-high for NBC. This week was the second straight that NBC had a double-digit increase in ratings and/or viewership, and the fourth of six that the network has had an increase of any size.
Among adults 18-49, SNF drew a 7.4 rating — up 6% from last year (7.0) and up 3% from 2012 (7.2).
