Team USA’s loss to Brazil in the Confederations Cup final drew a 2.7 overnight rating on ESPN Sunday afternoon, putting the game on pace to finish as the highest rated soccer telecast on ESPN since the ’06 World Cup.
Miami/Ft. Lauderdale was the highest rated local market for the game, drawing a 5.7. New York, the nation’s #1 market, finished third with a 4.3.
