NBC Earns Lowest F1 Rating For USGP
- The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix drew a 0.6 final rating and 788,000 viewers on NBC last Sunday, down a tick in ratings and 22% in viewership from last year (0.7, 1.0M) and the lowest rated, least-viewed F1 ever race on NBC (seven telecasts dating back to last year). Compared to the 2012 USGP on Speed Channel, viewership increased 15% from 688,000.
Breeders Cup Viewership Up on NBC, NBCSN
- NBC drew a 1.7 final rating and 2.6 million viewers for the Breeders Cup Classic last Saturday night, up 13% in ratings and 24% in viewership from last year (1.5, 2.1M) but down 15% and 14%, respectively, from 2012 (2.0, 3.1M). Coverage on NBCSN drew a 0.2 and 376,000, flat in ratings and up 20% in viewership from last year (0.2, 314K).
Manchester Derby Among Top EPL Telecasts on Cable
- Last Sunday’s Manchester United/Manchester City English Premier League match drew a 0.5 final rating and 826,000 viewers on NBCSN, the sixth-largest EPL audience ever on U.S. cable TV. Last year’s Manchester Derby, which took place in September, drew a slightly larger audience (852K).
