Ratings and viewership inched up for primetime college football on FOX.
Last Saturday’s Stanford/Oregon game drew a 1.5 final rating and 2.5 million viewers on FOX, up a tick in ratings and up 4% in viewership from Oklahoma State/Texas Tech in 2012 (1.4, 2.4M) and down 46% and 45%, respectively, from Oregon/USC in 2012 (2.8, 4.5M).
Stanford/Oregon trailed competing telecasts on ABC (2.1, 3.6M), CBS (2.3, 3.9M) and ESPN (3.4, 5.98M).
Later in the night, Utah/Arizona State drew a 0.5 and 792,000 on Fox Sports 1; there was no comparable window last year.
Neither game was the top Pac-12 telecast of the day. That honor went to Arizona/UCLA on ESPN, which drew a 1.7 and 2.6 million.
