Embattled ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews is set to make her return in less than a month.
Deadspin reports that Andrews will cover the N.C. State/South Carolina college football game on September 3. The game will mark Andrews’ first television appearance since hidden camera video of her was posted on the internet.
Andrews’ return figures to generate significant hype. As a result, it is not surprising that the news media would want to cash in.
Deadspin reports that Oprah Winfrey, CNN’s Larry King and CBS anchor Katie Couric are among the “heavy hitters jockeying for the exclusive EA post-peephole heart-to-heart sit-down.”
Andrews lawyer says that she “has not committed to any on-air interviews,” and has “received and declined all invitations to do so.”
