Louisville/UNC Up Double-Digits on ESPN
- Last Saturday’s Louisville/North Carolina college basketball game drew a 1.2 final rating and 1.7 million viewers on ESPN, up 20% in ratings and 25% in viewership from Kansas State/Kansas last year (1.0, 1.4M) and up 20% and 14%, respectively, from North Carolina/Florida State in 2013 (1.0, 1.5M). Ohio State/Indiana earlier in the day drew a 1.1 and 1.5 million — down a tick in ratings and 12% in viewership from North Carolina/Syracuse last year (1.2, 1.7M) and down 27% and 30%, respectively, from Duke/N.C. NBCSN Earns Another Top Ten EPL Audience
- NBCSN earned a 0.4 final rating and 801,000 viewers for Sunday’s Manchester United/Southampton English Premier League match, up a tick in ratings and 56% in viewership from Liverpool/Stoke City last year (0.3, 512K), and the ninth-largest EPL audience ever on U.S. cable television. - The North Dakota State/Illinois State FCS college football championship game drew a 1.0 final rating and 1.4 million viewers on ESPN2 last Saturday afternoon, up 25% in ratings and 16% in viewership from NDSU/Towson last year (0.8, 1.2M), and up 43% and 31%, respectively, from NDSU/Sam Houston State in 2013 (0.7, 1.1M).
