NFL owners are reportedly set to vote on an extension of the league’s television contract with NBC.
NBC’s Pro Football Talk reports NFL owners are likely to “vote on a proposal to extend the current broadcasting contract with NBC by two years,” during a meeting on Wednesday. The extension would keep the NFL on NBC through 2013.
If the extension is approved, all four NFL television deals would expire after the 2013 season.
Earlier this year, the NFL agreed to two-year extensions with FOX and CBS through 2013. ESPN’s Monday Night Football contract also expires after 2013.
