Fox Sports is touting substantial ratings growth for its flagship news program.
Fox Sports Live averaged 149,000 viewers for its ‘first hour’ during the first three months of the year, up 73% from the comparable period last year (86K). That includes a handful of shows that started before 11 PM ET, including an abbreviated 6:30 PM ET telecast on February 21 that drew 2.5 million.
Viewership has increased 48% among adults 18-49, rising from 42,000 last year to 62,000.
Despite the big increases, the show still trails ESPN’s SportsCenter by a wide margin. SportsCenter‘s 6:00 and 11:00 PM ET editions averaged 676,000 and 807,000 viewers, respectively, over the comparable period.
