The MLB League Championship Series produced a pair of thrillers on Monday.
Game 4 of the NLCS, featuring a walkoff win by the Philllies, drew an 4.4 overnight rating on TBS Monday night, down 28% from a 6.1 for Game 4 between the same teams on FOX last year.
Compared to last year’s ALCS on TBS, Dodgers/Phillies Game 4 was down 4% from a 4.6 for Rays/Red Sox Game 4 on a Tuesday night last year.
The game drew a 29.9 in Philadelphia and a 10.8 in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the Angels’ walkoff win over the Yankees in Game 3 of the ALCS drew an 6.0 overnight on FOX — up 67% from a 3.6 for Rays/Red Sox Game 3 on TBS last year. Compared to Game 3 of last year’s NLCS on FOX, which aired on a Sunday night, Yankees/Angels was down 10% from a 6.7.
The game drew a 17.0 in New York and a 7.3 in Los Angeles.
The 6.0 overnight is the highest for a weekday afternoon LCS telecast since Cardinals/Astros Game 6 drew an 8.6 in ’04.
