Caliendo Staying
- ESPN has agreed to a contact extension with humorist Frank Caliendo, who will continue to contribute to the network’s Sunday NFL Countdown pregame show. Caliendo, who joined ESPN in 2012 after nine seasons with Fox Sports, will also continue making appearances on ESPN’s SportsCenter and Mike and Mike in the Morning. (ESPN Media Zone)
Tebow Returning
- Former University of Florida QB Tim Tebow has returned to ESPN’s SEC Network after a brief NFL comeback. Tebow joined ESPN and SEC Network in December 2013 and left for an opportunity with the Philadelphia Eagles in April. He began his second stint with the networks on Saturday, resuming his role as an analyst for the weekly SEC Nation pregame show. (ESPN Media Zone)
Patrick Endorsing
- NBC Sports broadcaster and radio host Dan Patrick has reached an endorsement deal with fantasy sports website Fan Duel, Sports Business Journal reported last week. Under the deal, which runs at least three years, FanDuel will sponsor Patrick’s eponymous radio show, its accompanying TV simulcast, and episodes of the Patrick-hosted Sports Jeopardy.
