- Final round coverage of the LPGA Tour Evian Masters, the fifth and final major of the season, drew 696,000 viewers on NBC last Sunday — up 7% from last year (648K) and up 9% from 2013 (637K). The telecast ranks as the second-most watched women’s golf telecast this year, edging final round coverage of the Women’s PGA Championship in June (695K) and behind only the final round of the U.S. Women’s Open in July (970K). - Thursday’s Astros/Rangers Major League Baseball game drew a 6.04 rating on Fox Sports Southwest, the highest rated Rangers game on the network since the same matchup in August 2013 (6.8). The Rangers’ four-game sweep of the Astros produced three consecutive season-highs — a 5.34 on Tuesday, a 5.47 on Wednesday, and Thursday’s 6.04 — to average a 5.3 overall.
