An overtime battle helped propel NBC to a double-digit rise in overnight ratings for Sunday Night Football.
The Ravens’ overtime win over the Steelers drew a 12.6/20 overnight rating on NBC Sunday night, up 17% from Colts/Chargers during Week 12 last year (10.8/17) and up 4% from Eagles/Bears last week (12.1/19).
Steelers/Ravens drew the second-highest overnight of any NFL telecast on Sunday, behind only the national window on FOX.
Sunday’s game drew a 49.0/66 in Pittsburgh and 36.2/52 in Baltimore. In Cincinnati, whose Bengals lead the Steelers and Ravens in the AFC North, the game drew an 18.7/28 — the highest rating of any neutral market.
