ESPN’s Shulman to Call Blue Jays Games
- ESPN play-by-play voice Dan Shulman has joined Canadian outlet SportsNet as a Blue Jays broadcaster for the next two seasons, it was announced Thursday. Shulman, who will continue calling Major League Baseball and college basketball for ESPN, will work upwards of 30 Blue Jays games per season alongside Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler. Shulman previously worked for SportsNet from 1995-2001, leaving for ESPN. (sportsnet.ca)
ESPN Adds Second Comedian For NFL Countdown
- ESPN has hired one-time Saturday Night Live cast member Dean Edwards to contribute comedic segments on Sunday NFL Countdown. Edwards will be the second comedian to regularly appear on the show, alternating with Frank Caliendo. He debuts this Sunday. (ESPN)
